200hr Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training

This course will provide you with the foundational certification required to be able to teach Yoga, but it is so much more than that. You will be challenged, uplifted and supported to become the best version of yourself and to truly LIVE Yoga.

The Essence of Living Yoga (200HR) training takes place in two locations, at the Essence of Living Tallebudgera Valley Retreat and the Live Life Well Studio in Melbourne. Our training program truly over delivers, providing you with 320 hours of training, including 200hrs of face-to-face learning. This training also requires participants to complete an online progressive learning course to give an even broader understanding of Yoga History & Philosophy which will be further deepened in the face to face learning environment. This course is included in the price of your 200hr Yoga Level 1 enrolment.

All Essence of Living 200hr Yoga students will receive 3 months access to EOL TV.

Course Outline

ASSESSMENT

In order to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to be a yoga teacher, there are a number of assessments required as a part of the course.

  • 40 x session participations (can be signed off before course commencement)
  • 8 x session observation reports
  • 10 x session assists
  • 5 x one hour session deliveries (with your fellow teacher trainees)
  • 1 x written exam (yoga philosophy & asana)
  • 2 x Fitness Centre Call Reports
  • 2 x Fitness Centre Reports
  • 3 x 1000 word reflective essays/book reports
  • 6 x two minute presentations on assorted topics
  • Develop client screening appraisal
  • Personal Development plan
  • 4 x online course modules (Yoga History & Philosophy | Anatomy | Personal Trainer | Special Populations)

Many of these pieces of assessment will be delivered during your training, however you do have a total of 6 months to complete all of your assessment.

There are a number of books required to complete the course, these will be referenced within the training. You do not have to read them cover to cover or purchase before training commences.
