100hr Yin Yoga Teacher Training
Join us in the forest for 9 days of learning to teach a safe and effective Yin Yoga class that will suit all different skeletal variations and health conditions. You will learn different practices to awaken the meridian channels of the body, creating an overall feeling of calmness and contentment for your students.

The Essence of Living Yin Yoga (100HR) training takes place at the Essence of Living Tallebudgera Valley Retreat on the stunning Gold Coast, Australia. Please note: in order to teach Yin Yoga you must have your 200hr Yoga certification.

ASSESSMENT
In order to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to be a yoga teacher, there are a number of assessments required as a part of the course.
- 20 session participations (can be signed off before course commencement)
- 1 session observation report
- 2 one hour session deliveries (with your fellow teacher trainees)
- 1 written exam
- 2 x 500 word reflective essays/book reports (1 on Insight Yoga - Sarah Powers & 1 on Yin Yoga - Paul Grilley)
- 2 x 1000 word reflective essays/book reports (1 on The Heart of the Buddha's Teaching - Thich Nhat Hanh & 1 on The Dhammapada - Eknath Easwaran)
- 3 x two minute presentations on assorted topics
Many of these pieces of assessment will be delivered during your training, however you do have a total of 6 months to complete all of your assessment.
REQUIRED READING
There are a number of books required to complete the course, these will be referenced within the training. You do not have to read them cover to cover before training commences.
