Kids Yoga & Mindfulness (Prep – Year 3)

Our 8-week Kids Yoga & Mindfulness program at All Saints Anglican Primary School is a gentle and joyful invitation for children to move, breathe, and connect with themselves in a supportive and playful environment.

Designed specifically for Prep to Year 3, these sessions help children build lifelong foundations for physical confidence, emotional regulation, and mindful awareness. Through age-appropriate yoga, creative movement, breath awareness, relaxation, and simple mindfulness practices, children are encouraged to listen to their bodies, calm their minds, and develop kindness towards themselves and others.

Each class supports children to:

  • Move with confidence, coordination, and body awareness

  • Learn simple breathing tools to support focus and emotional balance

  • Develop resilience, self-expression, and inner calm

  • Feel safe, seen, and supported just as they are

The program is guided by Michelle Cassidy, twin mum, senior yoga teacher, and founder of Essence of Living, who brings over two decades of experience working with children, families, and the wider community. With warmth, patience, and deep care, Michelle creates a nurturing space where every child is encouraged to grow at their own pace and gently bloom into their brightest expression.

This program is not about performance or perfection, but about connection, curiosity, and creating a positive relationship with movement and mindfulness that children can carry with them throughout their lives.
