The Essence of Living Roll & Release (25hr) Course is for those wanting to gain a deeper understanding of anatomy and physiology and how to utilise trigger point balls and a yoga block to facilitate ‘myofascial release.’
This is one of our online offerings that you take at your own pace. You have 6 months to go through the content. You'll also gain exclusive access to our Patanjali Academy Facebook group with a monthly Q&A with Michelle Cassidy.
This course is designed so that by the end you have enough understanding and confidence to run a ‘roll and release’ style class and/or incorporate this methodology into private sessions with your clients. This will build on your understanding gained through either a Yoga or Pilates teacher training course, but is also open to general practitioners.

ASSESSMENT
In order to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to be able to share the philosophy, there are a number of assessments required as a part of the course.
- 12 x online modules to complete
- 7 x online quizzes
- Plan, prepare 1hr Roll & Release class
- Create client screening form
- 500 word reflective essay: The Roll Model by Jill Miller
WHAT TO EXPECT
- There are 12 modules in total to work through systematically step by step and at the end of each module you will have an assessment task to complete in order to unlock the next module.
- Monthly Q&A thread on Facebook where Michelle will answer your questions on video on the last Sunday of every month. You have 6 months to complete the content.
- Students will be eligible to receive a 25-hour certification upon completion of all course work. This certificate can be used towards a 300hr yoga teacher training or as continuous education credits.
