Our very own Michelle Cassidy is joining the stellar lineup at this year’s Sunshine Coast Wanderlust festival. She’ll be presenting amongst the likes of Duncan Peak, Sarah Wilson, Tony Childs and Janet Stone.
Wanderlust is a global festival which hits the Sunny Coast annually for 4 days of connection, fun and wandering. Michelle will be teaching Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Check out her epic classes below and make sure you get your tickets here.

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 10 • 08:00 – 09:30
Ignite your Light & Shine Bright
This class will inspire you to enliven and enlighten your soul, illuminating your inner radiance. This creative core-connecting class will be using the most transformational element fire ‘agni’ to discover, recover and uncover your inner brilliance. This class will be creatively coloured with ancient yogic teachings and core strengthening sequences that will have you feeling ignited and inspired to shine bright like a diamond.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 11 • 10:00 – 11:30
Find Your Rhythm: Vinyasa Rhythm Yoga with Gareth Jones
This class will inspire you to get in-touch, in-tune and in-sync with your own natural rhythm. Using deep heart moving, body pulsing beats this class will awaken your body, enlighten your mind, and illuminate your spirit. This class will be creatively coloured with ancient yogic teachings that will have you feeling inspired and in harmony to the sound of your own vibration.
Michelle will be joined by musician Gareth Jones
A professional musical facilitator for over 15 years, Gareth uses drums, percussion and rhythm to synergise and uplift groups of people across all social spectrums, ages and abilities. Australian born, Gareth travelled and lived within Africa for 10 years and studied with Master drummers and percussion players from Ghana and South Africa. During this time he performed with many of Africa’s best drummers and helped produce some amazing shows for a variety of situations including facilitating an 800 person drum circle in Sun City South Africa. Gareth’s interactive sessions were instrumental in helping unite the “New South Africa” during the time after apartheid ended in the country.

No Handstands, All Heart-space – Restorative Yoga
This class is not about handstands and it’s not about becoming flexible, it’s about love and making peace with who you are. It’s about creating space where you were once trapped. To unveil the layers of protection you’ve built around your heart. To appreciate your body and become aware of the mind and the noise it creates. This class will inspire you to feel; not accomplish. Join Michelle Cassidy for an insightful journey of heart-opening, mind-stilling restorative yoga. Blissasana: Yin Yoga with Ron Artis II
This class will take you deep into the depths of your own soul allowing you the time and space to fall deeply into Mother Earth’s womb. Here you will find peace within each pose as Mother Earth cradles and supports you. Join Michelle for an insightful journey of deep-diving, soul-searching Yin yoga. This class will be creatively coloured with ancient yogic teachings that will have you feeling both blissfully balanced and restoratively relaxed as you connect with Mother Earth.
Michelle will be joined by musician Ron Artis II
Ron Artis II is an American musician/singer-songwriter. He is best known for his work as Ron Artis II and Thunderstorm in Hawaii. Named after his father Ron Artis, Ron is the eldest son in a family of 11 children. Ron has enjoyed music since before he could walk, crawling across his father’s piano at age 1.
Ron has grown in all genres of music and loves to create new songs on the spot in his concerts. Believing that “Music is meant to be lived, as life is meant to be lived”. Ron’s recordings include genres of music from Singer-Songwriter, Blues, Jazz, Flamenco then into Rock,R&B and soul.
Ron has always believed in being independent to be able to create and share the most pure music possible.
