At our core, we are radiant beings. To uncover our shining soul, we must merely peel back the layers to reveal our true self. How do we do this?
In today’s post, we have gathered a collection of practices and tools to help you unpeel the layers and expose your radiant soul.

Edit what ‘comes in’. To facilitate a clear mind, you have to carefully censor what is coming in. What you watch and listen to. What you read. Who you talk to. Think of this editing process like you are decluttering the mind. This allows space for original thought.
Your practice: List down everything that is coming in. Things like time spent on Instagram, watching television, listening to the radio and even friends you chat with. Review your list and see what feelings arise from each of your inputs. If they are not evoking feelings of joy, radiance or contentment, consider letting them go or cutting down the amount of time you spend on them.
Morning meditation/stillness/quietness. Finding time to be still and decompress is essential to a healthy mind. It’s like recharging your internal battery!
Your practice: Cultivate a daily habit of sitting in stillness. If silence makes you uncomfortable try relaxation music, we love Avishai! Start with just a few minutes and build from there.
Journaling. Getting thoughts on paper is such a cathartic practice. It really helps if you find your mind twirling, whirling and thoughts circling round and round. Sometimes when negative thought patterns are written into being, they lose their power, and you can break the cycle.
Your practice: Use soul prompts (e.g. My heart feels… I’m inspired by… I am grateful because…) or just try a stream of consciousness, words straight from your head onto paper, no editing allowed.
Dharana (concentration) is one of the eight limbs of Patanjali’s yoga sutras, and it translates to ‘concentration’.
Your practice: To exercise dharana, concentrate on a single point of focus (e.g. a lotus flower, a candle flame, a symbol, whatever resonates with you) till you lose yourself within it.
Spending time in nature is one of Michelle’s favourite grounding, unpeeling and radiance practices.
Your practice: Dig your bare feet in the sand of the beach, take a walk along a bubbling stream or merely earth yourself in the lush green grass.
